It was evident from the moment that I met Kirstin and Patrick, that they fit each other perfectly and were so ready to move into the next chapter of their lives together. Wanting a celebration that reflected them, they chose to work with vendors and locations that they knew and loved personally. The result was an incredibly warm and joyful celebration that was 100% Kirstin and Patrick.
Kirstin and her ladies started the day with hair and makeup at the Jeffery Lamorte Salon and Spa. Hannah Elaine Photography and Captured in Frames videography were there throughout the whole day to capture all the gorgeous moments and details!
Adding personal touches to her day, Kirstin wore a gorgeous family heirloom veil, that perfectly framed her face. After finishing up at the salon, Kirstin and her bridesmaids went to her parent’s home for a lovely brunch.
Soon it was time to for Kirstin to get into her dress. Surrounded by her two Maids of Honor, her sister and her best friend, Kirstin slipped into her gorgeously laced gown. She had a quiet moment as she was revealed to her parents for the first time as a bride.
Meanwhile, at his parents’ home, surrounded by his family and groomsmen, Patrick got ready to see his bride.
The ladies made their way to the Notre Dame Parish in a fun Chicago Trolley ride, while the groom and his groomsmen walked just a few blocks. When the gentlemen arrived, they proudly hung a University of Illinois flag out front of the parish.
For their ceremony, it was very important to Kirstin and Patrick that they have a full Catholic Mass as part of their union. It was an incredibly beautiful and touching service!
After the ceremony the wedding party loaded up into the trolley and made their way to the reception at the Olympia Fields Country Club. It was time to celebrate, and the groom made sure that everyone was in high spirits! You can definitely see the love and excitement in the couple’s eyes as they make their way to the reception.
The weather, the company, and locations, all made for a beautiful backdrop for this charming couple’s elegant soirée! The stunning florals and decor were provided by close family friend and florist, Green Leaf Florist.
As guests arrived to the Club for the cocktail hour, they were greeted by delicious passed hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and glorious sunshine on the patio outside.
The dining room looked fabulous with the stunning florals by Green Leaf Florist, and uplighting provided by the Father of the Bride. The couple also displayed family wedding photos and used Kirstin’s grandparents’ cake topper from the 1950s to add more personal touches to their celebration.
The wedding party was announced into the the room to many cheers and accolades! The night was accompanied by the high-energy band, The Mix. As the couple made their way into the room, they immediately cut their gorgeous cake provided by Calumet Bakery.
Guests were treated to heartfelt toasts, delicious food, and super-fun music as they celebrated Kirstin and Patrick!!
Getting the dancing started with their first dance to the song, “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love,” set the tone for a fun time on the dance floor! In no time, guests were up and dancing and the floor remained packed throughout the night.
Captured in Frames was able to capture the joy and energy of Kirstin and Patrick’s celebration in this fantastic video they created of their event!
