Sara grew up loving to organize parties and events and did so whenever she got the chance. She started by planning dinner parties, wedding showers, family get-togethers, and sorority social events. Her love for weddings grew as her friends began to marry off (she has been a bridesmaid eight times!) and she coordinated weddings for several friends and family members.
After moving to Chicago with her husband in 2008, Sara joined the development department at a Chicago non-profit and was provided the opportunity to work on galas, fundraisers, and other donor appreciation events. She kicked off her Five Grain Events career in the spring of 2010 with a wedding that was featured in Style Me Pretty, a national wedding inspiration blog! Sara planned her own wedding and knows the stresses that come with being a bride. She is dedicated to making every wedding a stress-free and enjoyable day for all involved.
